I saw Jeff Beck at The Royal Albert Hall on the night of his 60th birthday. I was stunned at the virtuosity, and I'm a fan but live, he seems to crank it up a notch. Either that or Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings at The Gaiety Theater in Ayr. Martin Taylor, Albert Lee, Georgie Fame, Gary Brooker, Beverly skeet and sundry others. The most super of super groups. I also saw another super group live - Jack Bruce, Charlie Watts, Rick Wakeman and Rory Gallagher. They were fantastic but not even in the same league as Wymans mob.

So you've been collecting since you were a young lad :D
I missed that concert but I knew a lot of people that went.

Second best after Zep
Tull at Green's 1972 Thick as a Brick

Hmmm.
A straight choice between Free at the Green's in 74 (I think) or Thin Lizzy at the City Halls 75/76 (I think).

P J Harvey - Cambridge 2004. Absolutely amazing.

A couple of close runners up:

Pink Floyd - Strathclyde U 1971, no 1972, might have been '71. whatever. :?

Beth Hart - Shepherds Bush Empire last year.
