It should just pull out but may require a bit of gentle side-to-side agitation as the heat sometimes causes the prongs to stick over time.

Reading that again it is open to massive amounts of pisstaking by the usual suspects. :)

Not by me.

No matter how much heat my prong generates it never generates enough friction to make things stick.

I'm pretty sure I'm at a heat/friction/diameter/length/lubrication optimum.

I may be a mental though .. it's a coin toss.

I'll take the chance if you will, ladies?
