It looks so solemn on the TV.

I'll leave it. Seems all my pics are too big in both pixels and data size both from my hard drive and from photobucket. Never encountered this before. :!:

I love the mobile theme. Will post more often now- I rarely use my laptop these days. Thanks for the effort!

Jo - seems roughly 25% of people view HG on some sort of mobile device, so hopefully its seeming easier now!

Doorstop - do you mean the red photography sub-forum links? Were they black before?

You can assume that anything that doesn't look right will be a CSS tweak i need to do. But do highlight them, and I will get there eventually, on another quiet friday no doubt!

Sharon .. yes, they were black - with individual sub forums turning red upon new posts being added.

Also the mobile forum is looking grand .. bar the "page jump" problem highlighted by LP and added to by myself elsewhere.

Not being able to see the last page on first click can make a thread virtually unreadable, dependant on the length of thread.

This may be an Android issue as Jodie is obviously having no problems navigating around.

I found a glitch yesterday in that, when I clicked on View New Posts I didn't get offered any results, even though I knew there were posts I hadn't read. I confirmed this by clicking View Unanswered Posts and could see posts I hadn't read.

It doesn't seem to be an issue today.

I'm on a laptop via a mobile dongle.
I hear the people sing.

Huh. I had to go looking for that option. I'd never even noticed it in six years of membership.

My curiosity has been piqued now.

How do you select which threads/posts to view then? Are there specific sections you peruse first, or certain posters you follow via search?

The topics (Random Distractions, etc) with new posts are highlighted. If you click on them, the threads within them are similarly highlighted. I use the 'unread posts' on each thread from there.

I usually work from the bottom of the board upwards, unless there's been some controversy or something else that means that I go directly to a particular thread.

Ah, right. So now you know there's a "View new posts" button, will you use it?
