I never remember the Captain Bucky O'Hare tune being quite like that.
It obviously was but I must have forgotten everything except for the basic tune.

That bugger was hilarious!
'Young man, when I was a young man, I was a young man, young man!'
Loved the throw away lines Phil Cormwell (sic) threw in there.

The spoof clip where Bungo, zippy, et all, are talking about playing with their balls and twangers.........

'If you don't have some of you're own kids, then get a freind to let you play with his'.

Very funny, because it is all so innocently done.

Jayce and the wheeled warriors, he-man, thundercats, telebugs, all genius.

I still love watching thundercats these days, but i've lost my jayce tape. :(

Have to hunt it out when i go back to my mum's next. And my terrahawks tape. Not strictly a cartoon though.

Although not strictly a cartoon (they did have some animated bits for the story the man wrote), I really loved Mop and Smiff.

Nobody else I have spoken too seems to remember it.

The same can also be said of Stop Go, which I think was probably an educational programme more than anything else.
It was about different types of transport.
Everyone looks at me blankly when I mention it.

I also wanted the car out of Choc - a - bloc.

I remember Stop / Go.
It was another Derek Griffiths show, wasn't it? ( Guitar-playing dude, sort of like the black Brian Cant. )

BTW, Jayce, Ulysses and a bunch of other class 80s stuff's showing on Cable right now.
I'll post the channel when I remember which it was :p

*You remember more than I do.

I only really remember the transport, and have the image of an helicopter landing on and taking off from the top of a lighthouse in bad weather in the middle of the sea somewhere.
The lighthouse was sticking out of the sea and had a small round heli - pad on the roof.
Oddly ugly thing it was at the top too.

Also of Rally cars and bikes getting stuck in the mud.

The train one started off with a BR blue 86 at somewhere like Euston.

I think a lot of it was probably shot at Willesden.

Last seen when I was about 4 you have to understand, so my memory is just a bit hazy.*

*Fox Kids??

There is one about like that which is showing these things currently.*
