Dispirited is the way I feel right now, which is the problem.
Been in the same area of work for 36 years.
I joined because I wanted to help people.
Didn't give much thought about the wages or the pension (I mean at 16 pensions meant nothing to me)
Now I sit and listen to the people at the top of the organisation and wonder what they are in it for?
Between the requirements to adhere to the PC line and the financial debacle that is upon us, they seem to have lost sight of the decisions that they make impact on they very people they are supposed to serve.
He advocated for the weak against the strong, the poor against the rich and labour against capital.

I do miss the old days, lot more abounds.

I think you're right Vinegar Tom, my work has been unusually quiet too. I think its just people on holiday and the school holidays too.

Theres been a shortage of old posters of late, obviously some move on, change interests etc. One name ive noticed missing lately is Fossil, is he ok?

Incidentally i have taken the sad decision to stop posting pics on here, but i will help out with queries from good guys like YB, HH DS BD etc

i saw fossil last week, i can confirm he is still alive!!
Is this gonna be a standup fight, sir, or another bughunt?

Cheers DH, just hadnt seen him on here for ages, hes one of the good guys and hadnt seen him post, then again not worked in his area since jan 08 so not a surprise ive not seen him
