Where are you bringing in the Bells?

Postby deborahlove » Thu Dec 30, 2010 12:06 am

Will be on night duty, watching over 46 residents in nursing home. They will hopefully all be alive and sleeping!!
Never heard of first footing here though. Which is okay since i'm a redhead and won't be carrying a lump of coal shortly after midnight!
God bless us and save us said auld Mrs Davis, i never knew herring was fish.

I'll be keeping Felonious and Dave company at Velvet Elvis/Criterion, Free Stovies apparently. Whatever Stovies are.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

Surely you jest?? Everyone knows what Stovies are! Several variations can be found, and one of the best used to be at The Kirkhouse Inn. Chunks of Lorne sausage, tatties and onions! But ye still cannae beat homemade.
Will now copy and paste to the'Whits fur tea?' thread :)

Has to be at home, with the windie open, a glass in my hand and food on the table. The maw is visiting from EK so we'll no doubt be up Shopshite today buying some shortbread, madeira cake and cherry genoa. A wee bottle of bailey's, some salted nuts, and Jools Holland on the box.

I have to say if they would ditch Jackie Bird & replace her with just Aly Bain, some folk musicians, & Nanci Griffith I would defo watch the Hogmanay thing

At a farm up at Eaglesham. Big fires outside and lots of pepsi and ginger ale. And more layers on than an onion.
Thank you. And why not.
