I followed Mr Spleens' example and threw caution, and the diet, to the winds of fate and had a special haddock supper from McMonagles, the floating chip shop in Clydebank.
Rather tasty it was too.

It was indeed a fish supper for myself, and a single fish for mum, kindly bought for us by my brother.
I dearly wish, however, that I knew just which ingredient of the batter makes me fart...

ditto moonbeam,though I have only a blended at hand.oh,and nae neeps for me thanks.not a fan of neeps so the onions will be called from the subs bench.enough for four adults at around £1.00 a head not counting drinks.ye cannae whack it.

I had a late lunch/early tea in my local, the James Watt. Half a rack of ribs, cheesy garlic bread, and a bottle of Kopparberg pear cider.
