Honey Roast Gammon, mashed tatties and green beans for tonight.
Doing a Sausage and Bean casserole in the slow cooker for tomorrow's tea.

Bread and olives, leek and potato soup, Piedmontese peppers, trout fillet with salad. Lots of wine.

A Burns Supper in Scotland's temporary capital was let down by their caterers during the week and had to contact local chippies in order to rustle up 100 haggis suppers.

Wow! I can't really picture deep fried haggis at a Burns Supper! 8O

We had roast Chicken yesterday, so used the left overs and carcass to make Chicken noodle soup for tonight, with some nice fresh bread.

Chili prawns then liver, French style, with lemon juice, parsley and garlic, served on toast with mustard. Gu math blasta!

I wish I could keep up with our creativity when it comes to food. :)
I'm afraid its a variety of pies tonight for us (macaroni, curry or mutton) with fried tatties and a veg.

I was just talking about them yesterday. Of all the bizarre things you can get around the world as local cuisine, that has got to be in my top ten 'No Fecking Way' list.

They are a bit of an acquired taste. its my better half who likes them.
