Back to work after the Spring School Holidays tomorrow, so I thought I'd give myself a wee treat !

Roast Lamb coated in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and fresh herbs, from my own garden, with roast potato, pumpkin, carrot and eschalonions on the side, accompanied by a lovely bottle of South Australian Sauvignon Blanc Verdelho.

As an after dinner treat, a delicious Ego Caramel Magnum ice cream !

Absolutely scrumptious, but still didn't help overcome the disappointment of having to go back to work tomorrow !

Tombro :( :(
Today is the first day of the rest of your life !

A nice bowl of boeuf bourguignon. Bought a big bag of stewing steak the other day on my way back from France. Superb quality at a sensible price. Added a bottle of cheap read plonk and all of the other bits and stewed it for hours and hours.
Now have a freezer full.

Out for our dinner last night which was a nice treat.
Husband and son both had steaks. One with chunky chips and other with skinny fries.
I had salmon with crab won tons and pak choi and portion of mixed green vegetables.

Making some stew now which will do for lunch or tea.
