Where, precisely, is this 'widely' you speak of? You can usually get liver, but kidney is a rarity indeed.

Morrison's at the Barras and at Tesco in Maryhill a few weeks ago. Morrison's also had heart and oxtail.

Speaking of availability - rabbit was being promoted on telly last week but I don't recall seeing it on sale (not that I was looking).

Same with goat. Curry goat gets rave reviews but where do you buy goat in Glasgow?

From a delivery van?

I love it when a website address matches the purpose so plainly.

Trumped by Banjos local knowledge!
Do report back on how the curry turns out if you get motivated to make it happen.

Think I'll make home made steak pie for dinner.
Anyone else put sq sausage as well as steak in it?
My family seem to like it that way!

I might just be assuming that having sausage as one of the ingredients of steak pie is traditional because everyone I know who makes it does, but that's the case.

Square rather than links sausage is a tad unusual, mind.

Sq is a bit strange but in the main they don't like links.
Malcom Allan do a Sausage and Steak pie. Never tried it though.

Another strange fact is when I make Chilli for the family they don't like kidney beans, so I have to use baked beans. :?
