Mussels in wine, garlic, creme frais, mustard and parsley - with focaccia. Sea-bass fillet with green beans. Lots of plonk - New Zealand wines even cheaper now at Tesco.

It's soup weather, made a huge pot of minestrone last night which should last a few cold days.

Down here in sunny Kent, local bakers have got together to offer overnight home delivery for buns, cakes, bread and so on. So tonight it is cornish pasties - wee one for her indoors, the big one for me, with greens and some couscous, washed down with some local brewery beer (also home delivered). Life could be worse :)

Fish supper from the local chippy. *nom nom nom*
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Well, if you ever find yourself in Greenock, then Gianni's at the bottom of Newton Street is the place to go. :)

Dunno what I'm having yet. There's a nice wee cheese and bacon quiche in the fridge that's almost at its use by date, so I'll probably have that. :)
