Doing the eat out to help out scheme so had a nice meal this evening.
I had a red pepper and chilli soup with wheaten bread followed by a cod florentine.
Never had fish done like that before and it was like cod in a cheese sauce with spinach served with carrots, peas and champ.

Hubby and son both had steaks for main course.
Son had a seafood starter with prawns, lobster and crab and husband had chicken wings.

We don't normally have three courses but for dessert they had a chocolate fudge cake and I had pavlova with blackcurrants,
raspberries and some sort of a sauce drizzled.

Absolutely stuffed now.

Hmm, I'm not sure.

A nice gammon steak and some chips perhaps?
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Tonight I had a boneless chicken box from TESCOS washed down with a pint of Asti Spumante - pure magic

I have to say I'd prefer a drop of Asti Spumante to either Prosecco or Champagne.

Right here goes, tomorrow’s tea, firstly I will be at my old gaffers funeral in Leicester at 2.30pm, one of the lucky 30 so no wake afterwards, BUT I have promised myself a King Henry Mighty Man Mixed Grill 32oz uncooked Wright and a nice pint of the house ale, and all at half price should be about £15 all in, probably just me but it was our old haunt for the team, for birthdays, weddings, funerals and any excuse so I will be carrying on the tradition!
