I had a turkey breast curry with brown rice & there's enough left over for lunch :-)

Herself bought them in t'other day. I just cooked them the way I do the venison steaks I get from Tesco occasionally - nice as they were, I think I prefer the darker, stronger taste of venison. Each to their own, though.

Smoked mackerel, natural yogurt, chives, black pepper, and cherry tomatoes in an engaging cold pasta salad concoction. OH boaks every time he walks past me & catches a whiff.

Don't pay any attention Jodie, as a fully paid up member of the opposite sex and an ex OH I can safely say we don't know when we're well off. You eat your smoked fish and managerie of other flavours weird, I bet he doesn't refuse a smooch come bedtime no matter how much boaking gets done in the interim. :D

I bought some of those purple spuds and I've been using them up. I thought I'd sauté a few tonight. I boiled them for a bit and they turned blue. They're frying at the moment. How do I know when they're done?

They were quite tasty in the end.

The water I boiled them in has gone from blue to orange overnight. They said something about containing natural anti-oxidants and this makes a certain amount of sense. I wonder what's in them that changes colour.
