A piping hot, fresh out the fryer fish supper from the local chippy.

And a cheeky wee slice of iced gingerbread for afters.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Gammon steak and chips, washed down with a chilled bottle of mixed fruit non-alcoholic Kopparberg cider in Greenock's new eaterie "The Tail O' the Bank".

Being brutalky honest, I ain't impressed.
The barman ignored my "just chips with the gammon steak", and there's to many SCREAMIN' BLOODY WEANS!

A big pot of stew. Lots of veg to use up so in goes carrots, turnip, leeks, tatties, onions, squash, lentils, some stewing steak and some leftover gammon joint, and a scoop of green curry paste. Sounds awful, actually no bad. Enough for the next few days of course.

I took my wee mammy out for a walk and treated her to a feed in the hotel along the street.

She had steak pie and chips, and I had the BBQ chicken burger with chips and onion rings.
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.
