Just had an early Christmas feast with my family. Kids will be with their dad for Christmas (I use the term 'kids' loosely, as they live with me and they are my offspring but two of the three are adults), so we have our Christmas dinner earlier on those years.

I'm sure a gardener who isn't an amateur like me can give a more specific reply, but I understand them to be a different strain of pea. Garden peas generally being small, sweet and lighter. Marrowfat more dense, less sweet and thicker in texture.
