Ham, cheese an' onion omelettes tonight (again!) with southern fries, crispy bread - oh, and some tomato chutney for Herself!

You ask for a roll over here & you get a baguette. You have to betray the mother tongue and ask for a "bap" *shivers* and then you get some soft floury yuck that doesn't deserve to house a square sausage. Which is a good thing because the only place that sells the square sausage is M&S & I'm not posh enough to shop there.

Yes the home sickness is now kicking in!

I believe M&S sell jam sarnies as well though I think I'd prefer to make my own with a nice
bit of Nutty Crust and not that auld soft white bread.

I popped into the new M&S food store in Knightswood the other day .. dear God, you need a second mortgage and the proceed form the sale of an internal organ to shop in thon.

I made it down two aisles before the palpitations in the wallet started.

Im not sure if the still do, they were selling them for 79p, 2 white pieces and a small slather of jam
