Cheese toastie, followed by a rather nice crumpet with strawberry jam, and a chocolate mini-roll to finish. :)
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Luckily was working out of town earlier this week,
called in passed at Bertram Butchers in Kirriemuir
and got some Beef Olives with Oatmeal.

Main (+ stewed carrot, onion & spuds) sorted.

Then, heading South, passed a sign for fresh asparagus
at a farm road end. Swung in to "Eassie Farm"
& got a few good hanks of their chucky offer.

Starter sorted

Then. daywork in Edinburgh, so routing home North style
tram avoiding through Stockbridge, passed a pastry shop
and got a handfull of most excellent puds;
Hazenut cream pastry & carmel ecalirs, triple chocolate
slice, etc.

Across the way, a guy was selling burnt orange marmalade
& dried seaweed dusting pack, fantastic !

These out-of-towners came together and Wednesday night
was slightly better than usual.

Plus maybe a smokey zing on Thursday's breakfast toast ?

Olive bread with couscous then chorizo and potato stew. Too much wine - is that possible?

Durachdan,

Eddy

PS - My new best friend, Omar, will show you how.

I like pie and beans too especially with couscous and a balsamic dressing.

If my brother phones and offers, it'll be fish suppers.

If not, I'll have those hotdogs I bought t'other day.

A sausage supper from Jaconelli's.... just kiddin'. Bean and pasta soup, courgette and green bean salad with mint and lemon, olive bread and lots of plonk.
Best time of the year I think for fresh produce.

Goanese Fish Curry with a Yoghurt, Mint and Coriander dip and Chapattis.
Followed with home made ice cream
