Many thanks Brigit and Jodie :D

Brigit
Was it easy to settle in EK/Glasgow/Scotland? I often find after all my moving about it's only after I leave a place I appreciate it hence the moving about
Jodie

It's truly shocking Josef .. the joint was supposed to be self lubricating, using bodily fluid as it's lubrication medium, but many of them have become encapsulated ( a completely foreseeable outcome) thus forcing the ball and socket into dry metal to metal contact. Given the fact the human hip carries loads of three to four times bodyweight while doing things as mundane as walking, metal to metal contact in a lubricant free environment is going to do horrendous damage in the medium to long term, titanium notwithstanding.

It felt like home the minute I moved in. I've not felt a moment's homesickness for the old country. I should have got out years ago. Not been back in nearly three years and I probably won't set foot in the place again. It wasn't 'til I moved away that I realised what a shit life I had there. Still get the occasional nightmare but I have more pressing issues to give me nightmares these days.

A bit hacked off at some people's ignorance :o

Over the past few months i've had emails asking for info. I did research for a couple of them, and sent something for nowt to help out a project.
No, replies, thanks, nothing.

In the whole scheme of life it doesn't matter I suppose, but a thanks wouldn't go amiss :(

Just had the same problem myself - even a few abusive emails from one individual. I was paying for the website so after a good deal of soul-searching, I thought it reasonable to terminate the service on the basis of unacceptable behaviour.

Time to review Dr C's stress book, I think, and the bit about toxic people.

8O What a cheek, what's wrong with these people ?
I don't offer a service, but get the odd email asking about relatives who were in GCT or photos, costumes, that sort of thing.
I like getting these and will always try to answer to the best of my (limited) ability, cash never comes into it. But some people believe because you have a site you are at their service willy-nilly.

A wee weather station thing Bridie .. thermometer, barometer and barometer.

The lighting is in the pipeline. The cabling has been done but I'm still hunting for fittings I like the look of.
