I should perhaps say that I was having a go at the predjudices of the British tabloids here, Puro, rather than the lingustic abilities of the Portuguese.

But good to hear, because I have had a fancy to visit Lisbon for some years now. :)

Well, tabloids will be tabloids... Last year, i took some friends up there. After having contact with the british tabloids, his thoughts were:

"the "24 Horas" is a very respectable newspaper when compared to this ones!"

24 hours is a Portuguese Newspaper, tabloid style (however in page 8 or 9 you are already seing the sport pages)

I read the percentages a while back and it`s something like 8 or 9 times out of 10 in cases of murder, abduction, rape and molesting amongst others, that a family member is usually involved.
I sincerely hope it isn`t so and they get her back safe and sound.

He will be questioned tomorrow, by a Judge for "Future Memory". Basicly, the procedure is done to avoid him to come here in an eventual judgment of the suspects, if they are caught. This will be a valid statment in court.
(In Portugal, you can admit any crime that in either case you will go to trial. Once in court, you can deny the crime and void any statments you have made before, thus the need for a statment before a Judge!)

However, media are finding suspect that 2 top british family law lawyers have flown here hired alledgelly to support him whil doing he's statment

The first 10 mins of the 9 o'clock news was taken up with this tonight. It may have been even longer but I switched off.
