Lovely - thanks for that. I really like the trick of making the mouse pointer control the crossover - how on earth do you do that, I wonder?

Using Javascript, probably. There'll be an "onmousemove" event to trigger the code and then it should be a simple matter to determine who much of the overlaid image to display according to the x-coordinate of the mouse location value.

That was a good video I saw something similar to it in LA at the science museum where the space shuttle Endeavor is that is a huge beast.
