i've always wondered if tennants actually use the raw ingrediants(grains and hops) or is it malt and hop extracts?

or is that a secret? i'm one of these sad home brewers so i just curious thats all.

grains and hops proper raw ingredients don't think i am giving to much away saying that. there used to be brewery tours but they are suspended just now because of the amount of plant upgrades and building work that is going on.

Don't suppose you know if they're doing anything to make the place look a little less industrial from the Necropolis are they? Do you think they would if we asked nicely?

no but it is the inevitable expansion of the city centre living trend we will be out on a green field site somewhere in 15 years.

it is a shame cause the has been a brewery here for 400 odd years.

there are actually quite a few hidden gems in here old church spires now the lab. plaques on the wall to the necropolis going back hundreds of years the molendinar under us there is even an operator swears he has been working here a hundred years.
