Oh good grief, yes! Always been a huge fan of The Goon Show, and the Q series (even if most of it was before my time), quite partial to "The Raspberry Song".
But it remains one of the biggest regrets in my life, that I never had the opportunity to meet Spike in person.

Sometime after New Year, I'm gonna dig out all seven books of his WWII memoirs and give em a re-read.
The (possibly apocryphal) tale of how Spike first met Harry Secombe makes me laugh every time.
