Why would you send someone there? It's not a prison perchance? Like Shepton, Horfield or Dorchester...

They're the West Country "playgrounds", incidentally, so they are, by the way...

Is that Shepton as in Shepton Mallet, btw?

All of the above used by people on radio phone-ins trying to sound more intelligent than they actually are. :evil:

'Learn' instead of 'teach'.

A colleague of mine who got married recently kept saying 'I'll need to learn him* to dance for the reception'.

*future husband.

I had to bite my tongue. Think it was just sheer stupidity on her part more than anything else, as she also told us she would need 'a jag against typhoo' for her honeymoon in Cuba. 8O
