I've noticed recently that nearly every morning I have spider's webs hanging between my car's wing mirrors and the doors but have yet to see a spider.

Are they living behind my mirrors 8O
have I missed anything ???

Yeah, there are probably hunners of them in there!! ::):

Whoever is first out of the garden gate in the morning usually gets a faceful of web.

The gap between the hedges is around 4 feet! 8O

Common Garden Spider, Araneus diadematus. They range in colour from dark brown to light grey. They just hing aboot in their orb webs waiting for an unsuspecting beastie to blunder in...

The same seven legged spider has been in my bath two days in a row, he's either very stupid or he just likes to see me nekkid 8O. Best way to remove a spider from your bath is to let it climb onto the lavvy brush & then fire it behind the sink pedestal with a deft flick of the wrist. One time I did this with a little spider & the instant it landed it came scurrying out again as fast as it's wee legs would carry it. Whizzing of in the opposite direction was the biggest spider I've ever seen, the little'un must have landed right on top of it, wonder who got the biggest fright? ::):

This baby was found in a container imported from china today at my work, the boys captured it and packed it in a see through pack, around 4/6inches in diameter it was, i chased some of the girls in the office with it ...funny how females end up standing on chairs and tables with their hands over their mouths at the sight of a wee ceature like this ::):

Which reminds me to pass on the spider spray tip ... it has been deployed twice since purchase resulting in 2 knockdowns. They go instantly slow and dopey, and die soon after if left, or allow for the argos catalogue to land on a slow moving target .

happy days :)
