I've just discovered that an old photo of mine is #5 in Google's image search results for old Mars globes. Fame at last!

I would like to make an interruption to the posts here, if I may, to add that the No 9 is now called the No3.
Some of you may remember that the No 3 did indeed exist before as the bus that ran to Kelvindale - I can't remember when however I'm sure someone will.
It is confusing when Glasgow Corporation or whatever they're now called make these changes.

It seems no time at all since we successfully campaigned to have the 9 re-routed via Argyle St/ St Vincent St instead of First's preferred Sauchiehall St route.

Now it's been re-numbered and re-routed via Sauchiehall St/ Renfrew St.

Makes you wonder why we bother.

I was referring to the No.9 Tram, but heaven forbid I should stop anyone from talking busses.
