My favourite Chinese restaurant is Cha in Miller st (above Fixx) . Excellent and very reasonable 2 course lunch or pre-theatre.

If you can get over the name of the place , Ho's in balmore rd is excellent.

I would like to recommend Kings Lodge at 91 Union Street. It’s the side entrance to Central Station [on Union Street] Eat as much as you like for, I think it was about £7.95. It’s the best oriental meal I’ve ever had in Glasgow.....That’s Kings Lodge 91 Union Street Glasgow :)

after initially sniggering at the suggestion (i'd never heard it before) , i began to think..Hey , maybe she's serious .. so i looked into it , apparantly you need to reserve weeks in advance and kareoke skills are mandatory.. wild and so so uninhibited , perfect.

The Hong King Chinese restaurant? Never tried it myself....
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is generally adopted.

Chow on Byres Road (near The Whistlers Mother & even the same side) would be my place of choice for a Chinese, although I would think that by now, w1nd0wz_xp, has already been to a Chinese

I second Chow on Byres Road - consistently excellent, if a little pricey.

'New Blue Sky' at Broomhill Cross - consistently poor... shame I live next to it as I still can't resist sometimes!

The Swiss Chinese has been recommended to me several times, no idea why it's Swiss though... it is on St George's Road I think, up by the Lexus garage.

It is a very basic restaurant but always packed with Chinese folks, so must be good, or at least authentic.

This always makes me laugh but there's a Chinese resteraunt in Coatbridge called "Bon Appetite!".

It's actually decent for what it is (pretty cheap) and my chicken was very nice but the owner had his ear cut off for not paying his gambling debts and it's not the sort of thing you want to see when your eating your dinner.

He should wear a false ear (if there is such a thing) rather than just having a big hole in the side of his head!
