Save Bar10

Hi Folks

It has come to my attention that there are plans to change and ultimately destroy the interior of Bar10. Bar10 is of importance as it was designed by the Ben Kelly who was also responsible for Manchester's famous Hacienda nightclub. It was a first for Glasgow as nothing had been seen like it before. We have seen many bars come and go but Bar10 has remained standing the test of time. Changing the interior of bar10 would be like doing the same thing to the Rogano. Just because Bar10 hasn't been there as long dose not make it any less important. We must stop this.

I could go on and on about it but I wont. All I am asking is that you go sign the petition and pass this mail on to as many people as you can.

Tell the papers, tell your friends tell your grandmother and get this stopped.

looks like there is no need to panic

if you read the petitions you will see the new owner has contacted them and is saying only paint and non fixed furnishings are changing......

it could all be a bluff though eh?

The old wall clock with just the number 10 on it has stopped ticking. It's a sign!

Last time I was in there, the waitress managed to spill gin all over my friend and I. I told her not worry, as my friend smells like gin all the time anyway. (She even puts gin on her food, FFS).

Anyway, love Bar 10 very much, and I would be sad to see it change, even though it doesn't look that likely.
