Used to be a cracking wee chippie in Linthouse just off Govan Road. Forget the name but it was in a very short street that overlooked the entrance to the Clyde tunnel. :?

Remember a lot o Polis used it before Greggs became popular wi our finest!

I do .. I frequented that one too if I was working at that end of the yard. For the life of me I can't remember the name though .. I seem to remember it being a family name, Italian.

Google Maps has it as Perrella Chicken Bar .. that doesn't strike any harmonic memory sounds.

I like the outcome - everyone was right. It sounds like a Scottish family name and it sounds like an Italian family name.

You're going to have to change that user name, btw. I haven't seen it spelt the same twice in replies so far.

the chinese take away across from springburn station does lovely fluffy non greasy chippy food...way better than the actual "chippy" next door.

avoid the chippy at the top of edgefauld rd......its rank rotten greasy mush

Dellos in Stonelaw road, the grub out of there is wonderful, only complaint is the small portions.
