Meal deals

Does anyone use any websites for getting good promotions on meals out? I use 5pm.co.uk, which I find to be very good, but I was wondering whether there are any others that come recommended?

I've noticed most restuarants provide a meal deal on their website. You can even print off a wee coupon to show the man you didn't want to pay full price for his fine food

Well, I am living off a student budget so these deals are the only way I can really afford a nice meal out!

Lighten up, 'twas posted in jest

I was always amazed by people on a budget who wanted luxuries. Surely being on a budget you give up luxuries. To think even with getting a good deal the money you spent would probably buy you a loaf of bread, a few tins of spam, perhaps some soup a pot noodle and baked beans. That'd keep you going for a few days, just ask any resident of Giffnock. "Yes my entire earnings go on the mortgage but I have a G post code, G46 at that, mmmmm Spam and Eggs"

;)

Don't be too afraid that the one on the top of the list is called "Tootsies & Dexters". 8O

PriceYourMeal.com is worth a look. It's an ebay style auction site for food deals, with a good range of restaurants participating. I've used it before, and got a good bargain.

BarMC at 129 Bath St have a terrific offer running just now. Two courses for two people with a bottle of wine - £25.The food is outstanding.
110 just down Bath St offer the same and although the food was good it wasn't the same high standard as BarMC, though the service was much better.
