Spotted another one...

Penilee Park - Barshaw Road, Penilee

I'll refrain from posting a GSV image (I agree, it's cheating) and let someone grab their own pic.

Lochar Park... can't remember where it was though!

Found it again!

It's sandwiched between Linthaugh Road (Pollok) and the White Cart.

Wasn't aware this one was an official GCC park or I'd have mentioned it earlier...

Small regenrated areas like these are many throughout the city maintained by the council parks dept, they wouldn't be classed as mini parks would they ?

#41 Broomfield Park although its just a wide open space these days can't be built on because of mine workings and it lies empty now.Used to have the second worst changing rooms in Glasgow!! the worst being the old ones at the "coup" Glenconner black ash pitches in Royston.

Pacific Gardens looks a wee bit tenuous, Mori. No picture of Elder Park, btw?

I'm sure Yoker falls within the Glasgow City Council area. It's not part of Clydebank if that's what you were thinking of.

Yoker is definitely within Glasgow City rather than Clydebank (West Dunbartonshire).

Historically, the boundary between the two, in that area, was the Yoker Burn and that is generally still the case. The Yoker Burn crosses Dumbarton Road / Glasgow Road a few yards west of the Lovat Arms pub and that is where you cross the boundary (and hence the change of road name; Mill Road becomes Yoker Mill Road for the same reason).
