The FAQ on posting says maximum 800 x 600, but there again it also says that Photobucket auto-resizes to that anyway so you don't have to worry... :?

I'd go for that size anyway - sounds about right.

That is strange - I've previously found the same article on the Evening Times website but it didn't contain a definitive list of the relevant parks. The ET would clearly have got their info from GCC, however the date of the article is a couple of weeks before the date on the GCC doc, which contains no mention of a 'Garthamlock Central Park'. Perhaps somebody got their info wrong or something changed between the two dates?

The difference between the doc and the ET article is that the former mentions Windlaw Country Park whearas the latter mentions Garthamlock Central Park.

Ah, I knew there must have been one dropped out of the list, but my heart fell at the notion of cross-checking. Ta, Steve. And tell you what, we'll just leave the two of them in.

Btw, ignore the previous photo-sizing advice - I've just noticed that 640 x 480 appears to be the max size for a photo when it appears in a quote of a previous post, so we might as well keep it neat and tidy. :D

Cheers J, I'll give 640 x 480 a go then.

Flickr seems to be user friendly though - might go back to that.

You're welcome. And as you can see (well, as I can see on Firefox anyway), it just makes it inside the frame boundaries in a quote. :D

Right folks, we're more than halfway now - 53/105. Get yer local park on here.

To keep the Quad bikers out.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

Which could very well have been the originally intended purpose but it looks as though the Council 'forgot' to put a fence on either side of it.

You're right, it hasn't. A bit of a 50/50 if it qualifies as a park, though. If you've got a photo of it with a Parks sign, then we'll have it.

Here's a link to the streetview image - I'll have a look through the pics I took on last year's NY wander but I don't think I'll have the sign.
