Toomse,
these are great pictures. Couple of Qs:
Where did you get access?
What building are you under? Some of the brickwork looks fairly modern, so at a guess it's not under the Royal College!!

The pics are great, however most semi-modern buildings have ducts like this for services and flood prevention. It looks quite creepy but Its the older ones with staircases to nowhere that are really creepy. Or tunnels where you open a door and suddenly find yourself in Frasers stock-room. Happens all the time!! 8O

Is it possible to get some video of this and post on a youtube link :?:

Looks pretty much like the Thomas Graham building to me.

pardon me for interrupting but does anyone remember a 80's programme called Beauty and the Beast?
It was about people who lived in tunnels under the city and they used to bang on pipes to communicate.
Thanks bye

Ronnie's been a bit on edge the last few months. Was he overlooked for a moderator's job. I know I was. It's like DC Thomson in here.

I thought Bridie was inviting fellow HG'rs to reminisce about some old telly programme. A bit off topic but so what.

In a word?

Didn't realise it was a thesis on underground tunnels thought it was a discussion - informative and occasionally light-hearted. :)

Eh, did anyone else notice the face at the end of the corridor in the photo below. Sorry to reuse your photo but there is a face looking down the corridor at the person taking the picture.

Maybe check your camera and zoom in the the section i've highlighted.

Freaky. Its a face with really dark eyes.

Could you use your noise enhancing equipment (stop me for being techy) and see if he's banging on the pipes?

Given that this is a Hidden Glasgow Forum - I see commercial potential here! Open these tunnels up and call it part of 'underground Glasgow' through in a date/ gift shop/ excessive admission price etc etc and raspberry's to Edinburgh (Mary King's Close) :D
