Kelvinbridge - Botanic Gardens Railway Tunnel

Hello all
A couple of weeks back I noticed that the padlocked doors at the entrance to the Kelvinbridge tunnel (at The Big Blue) were open and there was a lot of activity in the form of vans etc driving througth the tunnel.... There has also been scaffolding erected at the old Botanic Gardens Station entrance at Great Western Road/Byres Road... Does anyone know what is going on ?
