I tried to post this up last night , but I messed up and lost it after embedding loads of photos
Ah well , here goes again....
I got a chance to visit a couple of Victorian terraced mansions in the West End. They are being converted from student accommodation into residential flats. A lot of original features still in place or uncovered by the works. Must have been a very swanky address back in the day.
Outside
Stained glass
Mosaic floor
wallpaper
Murials
They papered over that!!
Hallway fireplace
Hallway
Best Room
Fireplace
I had to knock hell out of the moulding pictures to try to bring out the detail as unfortunately I don't know any better
Servant's quarters
Upper corridor
Upper hallway
Upper rooms
Upper stairs
Victorian glass
Ground floor hallway
Skylight
Dusty knob
Asbestos shed
Dodgy chair
Luxury apartments
