i didn't realise that was what that was, otherwise i'd have been up there for a look... nice details on the pipes beneath it too. need to go back

It was slightly awkward to access. The pipe work is visually stunning, I wish I had paid more attention to it for pics!.

I'll post a pic of what it's connected to.

yep, that's why i didn't bother, it looked too clarty to climb over for little reward. but i didn't realise it provided clock access

I think it was in the nurses' block. And yes, it's quite ugly, but I kind of like it. If it hadn't been smashed I might well have taken it for my study :<

This is all that remains inside. The main workings must have been removable for maintenance.
Any horologists out there that know the working of old clocks :?:

Clock outside Harvey's Funeral Directors, next door to the Creme de la Creme on St. Vincent Street. Very Art Deco methinks?
