PS: I've got all the Star Wars on DVD but episode 2 has been in its wrapper for 2 years since I bought it. Never seen it.

Damn. There goes my supposed claim to fame of being the only adult male in the Western world never to have seen any of the Star Trek or Star Wars films.

Star Trek and Star Wars are two VERY different areas of obsession.

Na, mostly they are either on his roof, under his floorboards or clinging to his outside walls.

How do new threads start on this forum - if we make a suggestion here does that become a thread if it generates a stream of replies? I used to haunt the former pet shops of Glasgow, and can post some memories. There may be people who wish to compare their own experiences, particularly tropical fish keepers and pigeon racers, which used to be popular hobbies in the city. Nowadays exotic pets, particularly spiders, lizards and snakes have some venues which cater for them.

Choose the sub-forum you want to post your new thread in, then click 'NewTopic' at the upper left. There's a little search bar beside it which, in theory, should allow you to find same, or similar, topics first.

What about “Lost/Revamped/Downsized Parks”? Croftcroighn Park in Ruchazie, between Craighouse St, Milncroft Rd and Drumlochy Rd seems to have lost it`s former glory. No more swings and roundabout, or bowling green or putting green/golf course. Sad loss. Especially for the kids. Old photos please, anyone?
