Linn park bandstand

Up untill about a week ago when I got a copy of Old Clarkston and Netherlee by Douglas Nisbet I had no idea there had been a bandstand in Linn park.
I was out today taking pictures for the past present thread and tried to find any evidence of where it was but without success.
This is how it looked;
According to the book it was sited to the north of the gardens which became the zoo but after searching the area there is no sign of the structure or seating. The bandstand was demolished in 1960 but I would have thought there would be some sort of evidence remaining but I couldnt even find a matching slope, the closest I could find by keeping the gardens/zoo to the south of me was this area;
Im still not convinced this is athe area though.
Does anybody else have pictures or an idea of the location?
I have a bee in my bonnet now and would love to try and place its location.
