The original Cathcart station (not a tunnel tho) is above the Beechings pub on Clarkston Rd,where the entrance to the pub is now was once a little kiosk serving the original entrance to the station, spent many a day in there as my parents owned it in the late 60s & early 70s

Cathcart Station is where it always has been. The bridge abutment into which the Beechings Pub is built supported the Lanarkshire and Ayrshire Railway which bypassed Cathcart station. The tracks were removed when the Junction was simplified in the early 1960s.

I passed by some Contractor's today who were putting up some New fencing at the Old Bridgeton Line, It seems they have been cleaning the line's for Structural Test's,
So either It's going back into use or It's to make sure that the Calton doesn't disappear into the unknown. Can anyone say that's such a bad thing ::):

I thought the plan was to use hampden park for the commonwealth games not build a new stadium?
The pen is mightier than the sword, and is considerably easier to write with.
