I wondered if this was a housing for a pendulum but haven't been able to find any info to confirm or denounce that theory - any experts here?

Aye nice pics alex thanks, my son went to the nautical college and done his engineering degree there.

Didnt realise they had a small jetty at the back of the college, i imagine they use it for training purposes. :)

if you had used the SEARCH button you'd realise it was used for transporting slaves.
They were rowed across from the Mart. Street tunnel.
