Jammy Baskets :P

I've always wondered what was hidden away inside the wee wooden door of the steeple.

The woodcarvings are fabulous. Did you get any information on them, e.g. how old they are and who did them?

The animals were in the Mercat Cross building - as i probably wasnt clear about that. Apparently it had a female architect (according to crusty and Alexs chatterings) and i was built in 1930ish.

I am quite sure more information will follow. Meantime, there is google!

Alex, I think your lens needs a wipe

Cracking pics all and quite a few ripe for miniaturising too! Love the new perspectives though, especially the roofs (or rooves :)) I do have a soft spot for the roof lines of Glasgow though, there's a lot going and taking a moment to look upwards usually reveals something interesting.
