They look like they're laying one rather than sampling one.

Mental note - must spend more time in front of the mirror practising my impassive face. :)

Anyway here is one for you all.

A good depth of field isn't always appropriate, you know.

Tunnocks leads the munch bunch with £1.35m profit

Image Image

THE company that makes Scotland's favourite biscuits has reported a 44% jump in pre-tax profits.
Tunnock's, which makes 10 to 12million teacakes, snowballs, caramel wafers and logs a week, said its profits rose to £1.35million.
And bosses say they hope to make the same again next year.
The firm is enjoying the taste of success again after the previous year had brought a profits warning.
Turnover in the financial year to February 23 was up £1.6m to £31.8m, while UK sales rose £900,000 to £27.3m.

Artists honour Tunnock's treats in new exhibition

The Tunnock's teacake is a biscuit tin favourite and the ideal accompaniment for a fresh brew but now it is being celebrated in a very different way.
Rather than eating it people are being encouraged to view it as art.
A special exhibition celebrating "one of Scotland's genuine icons" is being held in Glasgow.
Artists have been invited to honour the teacake, along with the caramel wafer and log and the humble snowball, in a show called, "Tunnocked".
It is taking place at the Glasgow Print Studio until 11 April.
Tunnock's products are famous around the world.
This year the Lanarkshire-based company is celebrating its 120th anniversary.

For Scots exiled in the USA and especially in Western USA, I am happy to report that the World Market shops carry Tunnocks Caramel Wafers.

Our Coles' Stores over here do, too.

The worry is, if the factory is closed or closing, where do they get them from ?

Tunnocks Teacakes are my favourite but they aren't easy to find in Victoria. A few times I have found them only to be disappointed at how stale they were. The creamy centre had turned into a big hard marshmallow. And for that we pay a fortune...
