Fab. Particularly enjoying the men proudly surrounding the rutherglen memorial.

Aye great stuff Dave. I also think the Rutherglen mercat cross one is particularly good.
I am currently reading a book about Rutherglen published in 1922. I wonder if the author is one of the local worthies shown in the photo?

The Tail of The Bank lads and lassies have turned theirs into videos.

I don't mean this in an ill sense, but there's something slighly depressing in those. I'm cheered up by the bikes-across-the-years in #2 and #3, and the loveliness of the Eglinton Toll one, mind you :)
All the world seems in tune on a Spring afternoon, when we're poisoning pigeons in the park.

I find the harbour shots depressing. All the industries and fishing that used to be there and now there are only flats. Just like the Clyde.

here are some past present pics of Glasgow, even if there is only 6 months between each pic.

The past pics were from the set I put together on the morning of January 1st this year.

Nice comparisons Dave. Thanks for reminding us about bleak January :P

Seriously though, I enjoy all the seasons, but I have to admit that Spring & early Summer are my favourite part of the year. All the vegetation fresh and so many shades of green...

In the late 1980s I used to go round and photo Glasgow on 1st January. Really strange-a city at sleep! Or nursing a hangover!!
