Brilliant Karibou especially the second one really poignant not just for the setting but the person could almost be the same as well with a change of thought.

This is my most favourite of threads :D wish I was good enough to add to it

A few past / presents snapped on the HG walk in Falkirk last Saturday.

Some are not a perfect match unfortunately , but hopefully close enough.

Would there be much difference if we did?

Yes and No. Sorry, they're not past/ present . I was born at No 7 Mossview Quadrant (the close on the right) and went back to have a look in 2006. Apart from a few door and window frames nothing has changed. However, the Moss Heights certainly have had a make-over.

From the BBC Scotland pages. it might be of interest to HG-ers who contribute to Past Present - a good idea is always worth stealing.

Le durachd,

Eddy

"What is rephotography?
Rephotography is the act of taking a new version of an existing photograph to create a "then and now" view of a location. The two images can then be compared, highlighting what has changed and what has remained the same."
