Mmmm, it seems our very own mod Crusty Bint posted this on skyscrapercity.com last week and didn't tell us. :? :?

You'll be pleased to know the Dalmarnock blocks are coming down on the July 1st between 6 and 8pm... weather permitting.

Cheers for that cheesy, I didn't think to check the other sites and haven't been around much this past couple of weeks. Ah well, I was really hoping to get over there to get some photos but at least I got to hear it :)

Only knew abou this when I saw the pile of rubble while delivering mail today. One block is still up, hopefully I won't miss that one whenever it comes down.

Sorry about this folks.

I was on holiday and just checked my mail today to discover an invitation to the blow down.

At least someone got a couple of photos.

I will see if I can get the video from the GHA and pass it on to Fossil to go with the others posted up.

Check the GHA website... I think they intend to publish a video there.

The other one is going down in 4-6 weeks so those who missed the first one will get another chance! Apparently they couldn't blow both due to the proximity to the pylons and cables.

Heard a series of explosions this morning as I lay in bed contemplating my laziness, was it the other block coming down??

Hopefully Ally Doll was there to capture it.
