Hi Mr M

No information as yet on when Pollokshaws will be demolished. When I hear I will try and let you know.

I don't have the exact details of when the Dalmarnock flats will be demolished but is is very soon.

I recently obtained two short video clips of the demolition of the Gorbals flats. I know some have been posed previously. Hopefully someone will be able to get a video of the Dalmarnock flats coming down.

Since the windows were taken out in prep for demolition, the 4 Millerfield Place block (right hand in the photo) has still had all it's landing/stairwell lights blazing away night and day. Wonder how much of a wasted leccy bill that's run up...

Not that I would ever advocate that anyone should trespass or ignore health & safety but the flat will be coming down within the next month.

I would be interested to learn the date for the demolition of these flats.
I have photographed the demolition of the other two, might as well have the set.
I might be teaching my granny to suck eggs but I found that my digital camera was too slow for this kind of thing, need to dig out the SLR .
Bye for now, Norrie
