I saw a strange old man in the Mitchell Library last week.

Old guy, long beard, rather eccentric looking but what really set him apart was that he had woven lots of ribbons and babies dummy tits to his jacket.

Obviously, as seems to be the rule with odd fellows, he was rummaging in a plastic bag.

Was it a Farmfoods bag? I'm convinced that only mad people and jaikies use Farmfoods carrier bags. The odd occasion where you see a seemingly respectable person using one can be explained by looking to the way they're holding the bag - the general rule is:

1. bag is clutched at the top so that it looks like a bag of potatoes = nutter/scum;

2. bag is help properly by the handles = ordinary punter.

The one on the left has a kind of Tommy orangutang hairybody look about him . A relation ? or just another govan/ pollok boy ?
