Nice pictures. The old Hyndland station, used at this time as an EMU
depot, is shown there. The rough path heading left to right, just above the
Hospital building, is probably the trackbed of the old Partick to Maryhill
line.

Go to the top of the class. what an excellent contribution. I am especially pleased to see pictures of Townhead, :D although equally saddened to see it doesn't really exist anymore. :(

Great pics Emma! You or anyone else here wouldn't happen to have any aerial shots of the area around the Virginia Galleries (either pre or post demolition) would you?

Absolutely fabulous, emmar. Any chance of a high resolution scan of Royal_4, which shows almost all the Necropolis - I am researching a PhD on the Necropolis and would love to have such a clear view of all the paths and monuments. Thanks. Hope you've got an even better job lined up after you leave in three weeks.
Best, Ronnie

I can almost see where I work in the Royal Infirmary
Even though the New Buildings on Alexandra Parade have the Princess Royal Maternity and the Plastics & Burns Unit (on the 'Car Park' site behind the Mcewan Building (Biochemistry).

Brilliant pics emmar, any chance there's one of the Maryhill and Summerston areas lying around? :D

Sorry Ronnie your message slipped through my searching for old messages thingy, I'll try and get a higher res scan for you.

(btw new job has no net access during the day HOW WILL I EXIST!)

Sorry no pics of Maryhill or Summerston, seems to be only jobs completed in the 70's that they had photos of and their jobs at that time were hospitals :(
