It won't be demolished.

I understand it's been earmarked as the 'new' HQ for Aberdeen City Council.

Yes, it doesnt seem to be happening. The only reason they want to move out of the current place, St. Nicholas House, is that it happens to have been built in an at present unfashionable style.

Anyhow, back to the signs...

SRC sign

Postby MungoDundas » Tue Mar 13, 2007 12:06 am

Not strictly Glasgow, but hopefully a phone-snap from Yoker in West Dunbartonshire can be tolerated.

There was no building, only the sign left amongst some sparse trees behind a filling station.

All is forgiven, unusual signage is the name of the game. I do like a bit of SRC signage, well done!

First one for Buckie hotspots, last one for the government cos they think we won't know if we're not told:

Aye. To avoid any ambiguity: Not a bunch of signs from anywhere in the world that would be borderline funny at best even if posted in the correct place which is Random Distractions.

(and I realise that this is only contributing to signal/noise ratio but despite the best efforts of a number of wonderful posters, this place is getting close to the tipping point. Again.)

Thank you Mr RK, some people seem to miss the point of the threads. I mean I can take a picture of a sign showing times of opening for somewhere - we want unusual, old, different and most of all GLASGOW.

Remnant form an ill fated Glasgow City promotion,
Glasgows Alive replaced the "Glasgows Miles Better" campaign, Glasgows Alive was soon dumped, deemed a failure and the "miles better" campaign was reinstated.
Is this gonna be a standup fight, sir, or another bughunt?
