there are old signs in larkhall that used to be on a pole but now on a wall, they point out using fingers how far glasgow is from that point :), no motorway in those days, i'll try to get some pics.

Reminds me of the old Mini garage down near Whiteinch which had the front of a mini in the wall at one end of the building and the back of a mini at the other end.

There is a bar / cafe in Kilmarnock called Paris Match.
It has a cut in half Citroen 2cV 'Dolly' on display.. Looks well cool.
I offered to bring the display bang upto date by crashing my Xantia into the wall after a scuffle with the bouncers... But they declined!
Oh well!

Turned out no' bad.
I downloaded the transport / motorway sign fonts a while back from this guy's site
http://www.allan-online.co.uk/transport/roads/fonts/index.shtml and was looking for a suitable shot of a traffic sign to try it on, difficult finding good straight on shots of road signs on the web.

now if someone can provide a link to actual stencil font the army uses..that would also be good!!
(i've checked stencil revolution and while CRASS is close...its just not quite right.)
