I have never seen this building, but I believe it used to be the home of my department, the Scottish Hotel School, now part of Strathclyde University. We have an old painting of it on the wall. Am I right?

Hi Monument,

I believe that is the case.

There is a bit about this on The Glasgow StoryRosshall

It is now Rosshall Private Hospital.

Hi Monument
Yes, Ross Hall was indeed the home of the Scottish Hotel School.
I was a student there from 74 to 77 and many happy memories.
The old house contained the restuarant, kitchens, lecture theatre, library and tutors' rooms etc.
Downstairs, the common room overlooked the gardens going down to the river and connected a modern extension which was the hall of Residence.
